Gwyneth Paltrow

“He’s the best rapper of all-time and I think he’ll knock it out of the park.” (BBC News)

( Jay-Z’s new best friend and Beyonce’s maid of honour, Gwyneth Paltrow, defends his inclusion at this year’s Glastonbury Festival)

LMAO @ Gwyneth….

I happened to catch E! News this morning and they featured an interview with Gwyneth.

The Oscar winning actress was asked who she thought was the better rapper, Kanye or Jay-Z. Gwyneth replied “oooh that’s a difficult one, but I’m going to have to go with uncle Jay”. When asked why she called him “uncle Jay”, Gwyneth replied, “well my kids calls him uncle Jay”.

I had to laugh. I miss the old Jay - the throw back jersey Jay, the Jay before he contracted ultra mainstream celebrity via his wife.

Now Mr Hard Knock’s hanging out with princess Gwynny and her fragile looking hubby Chris Martin. He invites them to top secret personal events (his wedding) and their children refer to the former Brooklyn Marcy Projects native as ”uncle”.

Jay you’ve gone Hollywood and bourgie on me son…..

lol…..

gwenth "maid" of honor? shouldn't she have been "matron" of honor since she's married? i'm all for keeping my engagements private. they are in the limelight and have millions of "friends". since i wasn't invited to the wedding, i would have like to have known some of the details. llike what kind of dress she sported and such. i paid $210 for a ticket to his concert becasue i'm a "real fan". i feel i should be entitled to share a little bit in their happiness. damn, loyalty as a fan should have entilted me to something, right????

that is funny.. but i dont

that is funny.. but i dont think jay contracted celebrity via his wife. i think they were put into the forefront due to their relationship more than anything. Best rapper and best R&B singer. I'll give you that Beyonce was the more household name though. at some point u gotta grow, and i'm glad jay surrounds himself with the people he does. Cuz the chances of him ending up on TV with a friend with a gun in the car or a body guard bringing him a deal with a sh*t load of guns are slim to none.

And why did Gwyneth have to think about it?
