NEW YORK (AP) -- Rapper Noreaga testified Wednesday on behalf of a friend charged in three grisly drug-related murders that could bring the death penalty, saying he did not know that the defendant and others who traveled with him on tours had criminal histories. Under cross-examination from a prosecutor, Noreaga described his touring life as a wild party in which he sometimes smoked marijuana before he performed and regularly chased women. The testimony by Noreaga, whose real name is Victor Santiago, was meant to help Darryl Henderson, who has been on trial for the last month in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on charges stemming from the Jan. 21, 2002 triple murder a block and a half from Yankees Stadium.
